" To me it is the most brilliant masterpiece ever made in the doom metal genre ! First , the music is so well done , it brings me at the peak of an emotional state never explored before ... It is death metal rhythms , a slowly doomish atmosphere and a unique blend of victorian classical music melodies ; the violin played by Edith Mathot and the keyboards played by Sylvester Piyel with the growls of Stefan Ruiters is a must !Second , the lyrics are so well written , it is poetry with a certain Shakespearian inspired side and it is PURE MELANCHOLY and TRAGEDY ! Third , the imagery is captivating ; just a look at the image of the cd cover and it tells everything ! At last ... It is ENLIGHTMENT in shadows ! A must have for doom / gothic metal fans !!!!!
