This is an album that needs no introduction!! It is one of the most brutal, insane, most coveted death metal albums to EVER be released!!! This is the 2nd full length and best outing from these Canadian lunatics, and the last feturing the mighty "Lord Worm"!! In a word, this album is FAST. It was originally released on Wrong Again Records (WAR), the short lived label of ex-DERANGED frontman Per Gyllenback, but has since been re-released. If you missed out on the original, you NEED to pick this up!!! The guitar work alternates between ultra technical and fast riffing to brutal break downs, but this is not your average death metal album by any standard whatsoever!! Flo Mounier is one of the fastest, most respected drummers in metal PERIOD. No one blasts as fast as him, and the production on the drums makes them cut through loud and clear. Besides being fast, he is also a drum instructor, so his fills, and off time work are brutally executed with surgical precision!! It has to be heard to be believed!! As far as the vokills, if you dont know who lord worm is, I dont know what to say for you... He is one of the most crazed frontmen ever, with a sick alternation between sewage low growls, to ear piercing screams. Im convinced the man is possessed! If you dont know, the guy used to eat a fist full of worms during live performances, hence his nickname... If you have been listening to their newer stuff and have never heard this, then scrap all that, and BUY THIS ALBUM!! This is truly one album that this band will NEVER top for the rest of their career, and is brutality at its absolute finest!! You NEED this!!!
