...Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri...

Reviewed by Nikolay Rachev

I was a little surprised when heard '...Magni...', which is the second album of this one-man band. The first, published in 1996, sounds much more extreme and darker than the new one. It can be defined as Folk/Black /I prefer that more than Viking Metal/ with dominating keyboards. Vratyas Vakyas have made a very interesting album. The guitars are put only for background, and the Black vocals are able to be heard only in the first two songs. All is removed by keyboards' beauties, as I ever said, and epic and emotional clean voice. For shortly, the Icelander have created a cool atmposphere. As a whole, there are not shown any great skills or complicated playing, but I have to tell that '...Magni...' exert influence on you in a very strange way and it fills you with pride and similar feelings. You should listen to this, because it's very good!
