Kreator

Coma Of Souls

This is without doubt the best trash metal album that I've ever heard. Sheer perfection. It's fast and heavy as hell, yet very melodic.
This is Kreators second album that was produced by Randy Burns, who truly raised kreators sound to a totally new level. From the intro of "When the sun burns red" to the very end of "Mental slavery" this album really keeps the listener hypnotized with its killer riffs and very nice solos.
I would strongly recommend this release to any friend of metal or interested in music in general. I'm sure Slayer fans will enjoy this one along with Kreator's other immortal classic, Pleasure To Kill (PTK one is much faster and has never even heard the word melody), the bands 2nd album (Coma of souls being their 5th). In my opinion none of slayers albums are any match for these two. I would also recommend "Terrible Certainly" (1988), "Extreme Aggression" (1989) and the bands latest effort, "Violent Revolution" (2001).
