"Necromantia" is a black metal band from Greece.
M.W.Daoloth (Zaharopoulos) is the leader of this great band, ex- Rotting Christ member and one of the top musicians in Greece.
"Ancient Pride"(1996-97)is the greatest album of Necromantia. Songs review:
-"Shaman": is a sample of pure black metal.
-"Ancient Pride": is the best song of the band. Epic/Black Metal with great atmosphere. Perfect.
-"For the light of my darkness": is a great melancholic black/doom metal masterpiece.
-"Each Dawn I Die": black metal cover of Manowar. The Best Manowar Cover ever!!
-"Spiritforms of the psychomancer": is a bonus track in the LP version of "Ancient Pride"(Limited Edition 1000 copies). This song was recorded in the year 1995. This is a great atmospheric black metal song full of passion and ...psychopathetic anger!! Perfect!
