Exhumed Of The Earth

Perhaps this is the greatest heavy metal album in the history of the genre. While this is a lofty claim, it's arguable. The classical elements and soprano vocals add depth and substance to the death vocals and superb instrumentation, (which includes the flute and the violin). Real instruments, mind you, not keyboards or computer synthesis! The storyline of the album is that of the Ancient Texts, it begins at the birth of Christ, continues through His ressurrection, speaks of the Disciples, and ends with Christians coming to life from the dead. Though this genre is predominately synominous with evil, this Christian album tops them all.
