This is a fuckin' great death metal record. Not my top ten metal albums but anyway...I've never been too enthusiastic about "the swedish death metal sound" (read:the Sunlight sound!)but this album and Entombed's two first ones are good! Probably the best stuff from Sweden and that "golden era". It still sounds great. Nowadays every band gets so overproduced in the studio and that suxxx! I want my metal raw and passionated! No polished shit! Leave that thing for Def Leppard. Do they even exist anymore?!? And for Alex who reviewed this classic: Nicke of Entombed actually plays all the guitar solos on this album and is also responsible for the Dismember-logo. Multitalented guy!
